Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich, confirms Hasan Salihamidžić

Speaking ahead of Bayern Munich’s final Bundesliga game of the season, sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski has said that he would like to leave the club.

“I spoke to Lewa. In the conversation he told me that he did not want to accept our offer to extend the contract and that he would like to leave the club,” Salihamidžić told Sky Germany. “He said that he would like to do something else. But our attitude hasn’t changed. Lewa has a contract until June 2023. That’s a fact.”

Barcelona are leading the race to sign the 33-year-old striker, who starts against Wolfsburg in what could be his final game for the Bundesliga champions.
