Bild report tonight that RB Leipzig will not be extending the contract of right-sided defender Nordi Mukiele beyond 2023.
The Bundesliga side hope to receive an offer of around €10m for Mukiele but if they don’t find a suitor, the Frenchman would leave next summer on a free transfer when his contract expires.
This comes as somewhat of a surprise as both Manchester United and PSG both showed interest in signing Mukiele last summer, which could prompt one of the teams to make another move this year. The 24-year-old has played 28 Bundesliga games this season.
