Speaking in an interview with Bild, Pini Zahavi states that Bayern Munich is history for Robert Lewandowski.
“Of course, you can keep Robert for another year, he has a contract until 2023, but I wouldn’t recommend that to you,” said Zahavi. “For Robert Lewandowski, Bayern is history.”
Bayern Munich have received a written offer of €32m from Barcelona for Lewandowski, who wants to leave the Bundesliga club this summer.
Zahavi added: “No one cares about the money here, neither Robert nor me. He hasn’t felt respected by those in charge for months, that’s the truth. Bayern didn’t lose the player Lewandowski, but the person Robert.”
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić said that Bayern had submitted a concrete offer to extend the contract of Lewandowski, Zahavi further added: “There was no such offer.”
