No decision on Erling Haaland’s future but a trend towards Manchester City

Although no decision has been made on the future of Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland, there is a trend towards Premier League side Manchester City, according to Kicker.

This comes after Sport1 reported on Tuesday evening that Manchester City had made the best proposal and that Spanish giants Real Madrid are thinking about matching an offer.

Spanish reports had suggested a meeting between Florentino Perez and Hans-Joachim Watzke but according to Kicker, this didn’t happen.

Back in February, BVB CEO Watzke said that he expected a decision in the next four to six weeks so that the Bundesliga side can start planning for the 2022/23 season.

As reported by Sport Bild, Haaland’s release clause has to be activated by April 30.
