Max Kruse has a contract extension clause at Wolfsburg

Kicker report today that Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have the option to extend the contract of 33-year-old forward Max Kruse until 2024 should he trigger a clause.

Should Kruse make 25 appearances next season, he will automatically see his contract extended by a further year. The former Germany international joined Wolfsburg on a reported €5m deal from Union Berlin.

Kruse has played 16 Bundesliga games for Union this season, scoring five and creating five before re-joining Wolfsburg, the team he played for in 2015/16.
