Luis Suarez offered to Borussia Dortmund to compensate for Sébastien Haller

Luis Suarez has been offered to Borussia Dortmund, according to Sky Germany. The former Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid striker is currently without a club.

This comes following the shocking news regarding Sébastien Haller, who has been diagnosed with a testicular tumour. Per the report, BVB are looking at sporting alternatives.

Suarez (35) joined Atlético from Barcelona in September 2020 but is now without a club after his contract expired. The Uruguayan forward scored 34 and created six across 83 games in all competitions for Atlético, adding to his tally of 194 goals and 113 assists in 281 games for Barcelona.

Haller joined Borussia Dortmund on July 6 for a club record €35m including bonuses. During his career, the French-Ivorian has scored 142 goals in 347 games, and returned to the Bundesliga following a spell at Eintracht Frankfurt between 2017 and 2019 – during his time at Eintracht, Haller (28), scored 33 and created 19 in 77 games across all competitions for the Hessen club.
