Marco Rose had a surprise for Borussia Dortmund fans after 17-year-old Englishman Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was snapped at Dortmund airport, traveling with the first team ahead of their game against Stuttgart on Friday evening.
The young winger will be in Dortmund’s squad for the first time and whilst he may not get any minutes, it’s an excellent opportunity for Bynoe-Gittens to experience what it’s like around the BVB first team.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Donyell Malen didn’t travel with the squad but Jude Bellingham did. Bellingham had suffered a knock against RB Leipzig and and was a doubt for Friday’s game, but he did train on Thursday.
