Hoffenheim remain calm about transfer rumours regarding David Raum, according to Kicker.
Raum has impressed this campaign and has one of the highest cross and assist rates across all of Europe’s top five leagues. This has earned him a Germany call-up and will most likely play a part in his country’s World Cup squad this year.
This has led to several top European clubs including Bayern Munich monitoring the full-backs situation.
With fears that Hoffenheim may miss out on a European place, many believe Raum will make the switch in order to play European football next season.
However, the club’s director of football Alexander Rosen remains calm about the situation.
Rosen explained: “He recently extended his contract until 2026. This constellation gives us full authority to act, we are behind the wheel.”
He ended his statement by admitting: “but of course, I’m aware that we could always be confronted with this issue in the future with this category of players.”
