After failed transfers to Fiorentina and Brighton, former Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch (26) has left Stellar ICM and re-signed with Thomas Böhn at Grass is Green.
Speaking to Kicker, Grillitsch said: “Certain things have been extremely unfortunate recently. Of course, I take responsibility for that myself, and I have drawn appropriate conclusions from that. One change is that my previous advisor Thomas Böhm is now conducting negotiations again.”
Fiorentina had concrete interest in signing the Austria international but sporting director Daniele Pradé decided against a move because of the demands of Grillitsch’s father: “We didn’t like the father’s talk and the payments he asked for. We decide who we work with. We are a club respected by consultants because we always pay on time. However, we cannot always pay more commission that others.”
Grass is Green recently merged with You First, the largest Spanish consulting agency which per the report, could open up a new market for Grillitsch, who decided against a contract extension at Hoffenheim.
