Evan Ndicka plans to remain at Eintracht Frankfurt despite Milan interest

Eintracht Frankfurt central-defender Evan Ndicka wants to remain at the Bundesliga club this season despite interest from Italian champions Milan, according to Sky Germany.

The Frenchman has one-year remaining on his current deal and as of now, a departure isn’t an issue, despite negotiations on Monday. Bild reported last week that Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has been in contact with Ndicka via several video calls.

With a contract until 2023, Eintracht Frankfurt would be willing to allow the former French youth international to leave the club should they receive an offer around €20m, but so far SGE are yet to receive an offer. After Filip Kostić, no further big sales are planned, but this could change in the final three weeks.

Speaking in July about Milan’s interest in Ndicka, Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche said: “We know about the interest. There is no offer so far.”

Since joining the club for €5m from Auxerre in 2018, Ndicka has played 140 games across all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt, cementing himself as a key player.
