Erling Haaland flies to the UK to complete Manchester City transfer

The BBC report that 21-year-old forward Erling Haaland has flown to the UK to complete his move to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund.

The Premier League side confirmed earlier this month that they had reached an agreement in principle to sign Haaland, with only the final details left to be clarified.

Haaland to Manchester City now appears to be on the home stretch with an official announcement likely before Haaland goes on international duty with Norway.

Per several reports, Pep Guardiola’s side will pay a fee closer to €60m to sign Haaland, significantly less than the reported €75m release clause.

Haaland has scored 86 goals in 89 games in all competitions for BVB, who signed Karim Adeyemi from RB Salzburg to soften the blow.
