Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag wants to keep 20-year-old forward Brian Brobbey at the Eredivisie club beyond his loan spell from RB Leipzig.
Speaking to De Telegraaf, Ten Hag said: “We’re going to work on it because we really want to keep him. I don’t know if that’s feasible, because the key lies with Leipzig. He’s under contract there.”
Brobbey joined RB Leipzig on a free transfer in the summer but managed just 124 minutes of Bundesliga football before returning to Ajax on loan in January.
Since his return, the Netherlands youth international has scored three and created one in five Eredivisie games.
