Eintracht Frankfurt have opened preliminary talks with Inter Milan striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pinamonti is currently on loan with Serie A side FC Empoli this season and has scored 12 goals in 33 league appearances including a recent brace against Napoli.
The 22-year-old’s contract isn’t up until 2024 and Inter are said to be reluctant to sell the young talent. However, the club may be forced to sell the Pinamonti if they receive a credible offer of around €20-25m.
The striker has received plenty of praise this season including from Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi who said: “He has quality and has had a chance to play consistently this season. I hope the best decisions will be made for his future because I believe Pinamonti can become an important player.”
