Brentford submit second offer to Freiburg for Kevin Schade

After seeing their opening offer for Kevin Schade rejected, Premier League side Brentford have submitted a second offer to Freiburg for the 20-year-old German attacker, according to Kicker.

As reported last week by Sky Germany, Freiburg rejected Brentford’s opening offer of €15m for Schade. The Premier League’s side latest offer again doesn’t appear to be good enough for Freiburg.

The German youth international has four-years remaining on his current Freiburg contract and sporting director Klemens Hartenbach believes Schade will remain at the Bundesliga side in order to aid his development.

“Regardless of the contractual situation, we continue to see a harmonious balance between what Kevin can give us and what we can give him,” said Hartenbach. “I can’t predict how serious an interested club might be. So far, however, there have been no really serious attempts.”

Schade made his Bundesliga debut for Freiburg last season, scoring four and creating one in 824 minutes across 21 Bundesliga games.
