According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund will pay €20 million to Freiburg for 22-year-old defender Nico Schlotterbeck.
Bayern Munich made an attempt to sign the Germany international and presented Schlotterbeck with a higher salary but the central-defender will join BVB, earning around €6m per year.
Schlotterbeck would be the second defender to arrive in Dortmund after they announced the signing of Bayern Munich’s Niklas Süle when his contract expires at the end of the season.
