Bayern Munich rule out salary increase for Robert Lewandowski

According to the  Abendzeitung, Bayern Munich have ruled out a salary increase for Robert Lewandowski due to the fact that “the planned transfers and extensions with top players” are too expensive.

It’s reported that the 33-year-old’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is in talks with the club this week about a possible extension.

Earlier in the week, French media outlet RMC are reporting that the Polish international’s agent may ask for his client to be sold with his contract due to expire in 2023.

However, Bild have reported that Hasan Salihamidžić and Oliver Kahn met with Zahavi and had talks regarding the striker for around 2.5 hours.
