Bild report this morning that Bayern Munich are ready to submit a third offer to Liverpool for Sadio Mané.
After securing the signing of Ryan Gravenberch on Monday from Ajax for €18.5m plus €5.5m in bonuses, Bayern are now working on a deal to sign 30-year-old forward Mané.
Per the report, Bayern bosses have approved a third offer internally which is reported to be €35m plus €5m in performance related bonuses, a fee closer to the asking price that Liverpool want.
According to Sport1, Liverpool have lowered their asking price from €50m to €41m and so, Bayern’s third offer could ultimately lead to an agreement being reached.
It’s unclear as to whether the deal will be finalised this week but Mané could well be a Bayern Munich player by the coming week.
The Senegalese international will reportedly sign a three-year contract with the Bundesliga champions.
Mané scored 23 goals in 51 games in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
