Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nadiem Amiri has agreed personal terms with Genoa

Kicker report that Serie A side Genoa have reached an agreement with 25-year-old midfielder Nadiem Amiri over a possible January transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.

Discussions are ongoing regarding a possible loan with an obligation to buy should Genoa remain in the top division.

A total agreement could be reached imminently with Amiri no longer in the plans of Gerardo Seoane, the Germany international training on the pitch adjacent to the first team to prevent the risk of a potential injury that would see the deal collapse.

Amiri has played just 362 minutes of Bundesliga football this season.
