Barcelona to submit final offer for Robert Lewandowski

According to Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona will submit a final offer of around €50m plus bonuses for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

This will be Barca’s fourth and possibly final bid for the Polish international having already had transfers of up to €45m rejected.

However, there is possibly more reason to be optimistic this time around for Barcelona.

It’s reported that Bayern would like to invest the money from Lewandowski’s transfer to get Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.

€50m for Lewandowski would go a long way to meet Juventus’ desired fee of around €60m.

There were rumours that the 33-year-old forward would go on strike and not turn up to Bayern training this week but reports show Lewandowski reporting for medical tests ahead of his first training session back.

Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich as he enters the final year of his contract. This could be a final opportunity for the Bundesliga champions to collect a transfer fee for their No. 9.
