Wolfsburg reject opening €20m offer for Maxence Lacroix

Wolfsburg managing director Jörg Schmadtke has confirmed that the Bundesliga club have rejected an offer for 21-year-old French defender Maxence Lacroix.

“Yes, we have rejected an offer for Lacroix,” Schmadtke told Kicker. Per the report, the offer came from RB Leipzig with Sky Germany reporting earlier that the Bundesliga side had submitted an offer of €20 million.

Lacroix joined Wolfsburg from Sochaux for €5 million last summer. The Frenchman does not have an exit clause in his contract and so, Wolfsburg are free to negotiate a fee.
