2. Bundesliga side Schalke 04 have confirmed the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Yaroslav Mikhailov on a season-long loan from Zenit St. Petersburg.
“That these few days will now become a year – I hadn’t really expected that to begin with. I’m really grateful to those here at Schalke for giving me this opportunity and I will do everything I can to play my part in a successful season,” said Mikhailov.
Mikhailov has been training with Schalke for the past three weeks.
