Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have today confirmed the signing of 25-year-old Portugal international striker André Silva on a five-year contract for a reported €23 million fee.
“I’m really excited for the new challenge at RB Leipzig,” Silva told the club’s official channel. “The club have big goals and ambitions and I want to help them achieve those, ideally by scoring as many goals as possible. I want to play at the highest level and that is Champions League football.”
Silva has signed a contract until 2026 with RB Leipzig, bringing his two year stay at Eintracht Frankfurt to an end. The Portuguese striker scored 45 and created 15 in 71 goals in all competitions during his time at Eintracht.
