Borussia Dortmund have announced the contract extension of 25-year-old midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud by one-year until 2023.
“Mo is a positive guy who can produce unpredictable moments on the pitch. He proved his potential in the second half of last season. We want to help him continue his positive development,” said sporting director Michael Zorc.
Dahoud enjoyed an impressive end to the 2020/21 season and played 21 Bundesliga games last season. It was reported earlier that there had been positive talks whilst it was important for Dahoud to speak to head coach Marco Rose before coming to a decision.
