Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin yesterday announced the signing of 21-year-old Dutch midfielder Jurgen Ekkelenkamp from Ajax for a reported €3m.
“It’s no secret that we’ve been watching Jurgen for a while. We are pleased that we have been able to come to a mutually satisfactory agreement. Jurgen will help bolster our attack with his talent,” said sporting director Fredi Bobic.
Ekkelenkamp has signed a contract with Hertha until 2025 and will wear the No. 10.
