Wolfsburg announced on Monday morning the signing of Belgian forward Dodi Lukebakio on a season-long loan from fellow Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
“The option for this transfer came about at short notice and makes sense for both sides. We wish Dodi all the best for his future on and off the pitch,” said Hertha sporting director Fredi Bobic.
The 23-year-old becomes the latest forward to sign for Wolfsburg following the recent arrivals of Lukas Nmecha and Luca Waldschmidt.
Lukebakio played 67 games in all competitions for Hertha, scoring 16.
