Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Borussia Dortmund head coach Marco Rose has confirmed that Erling Haaland will miss Saturday’s Bundesliga game against Augsburg.
“He tried it but the pain is still too strong,” said Rose. “He will stay with us for the time being and not travel to the Norwegian national team.”
Rose also confirms that Gio Reyna will miss the game but that Emre Can will return to the squad for the first time since being substituted against Freiburg on MD2 after picking up an injury in the first half.
