Bayern Munich want to sign Matthias Ginter on a free transfer

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich are interested in signing 27-year-old Borussia Mönchengladbach central defender Matthias Ginter.

The Bundesliga side have decided internally that they would like to sign Ginter on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer, but would also be open to completing a deal before Tuesday’s deadline.

Per Bild, Ginter is leaning towards remaining at Gladbach and seeing his contract out but he would be open for a move to Bayern Munich. There has been loose talks between Bayern and Ginter’s representatives.
