The DFL have confirmed that from the third matchday of the coming season, away fans will be allowed to return to stadiums in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga.
Following a meeting on Wednesday, all 36 clubs agreed that five percent of tickets will be reserved for travelling fans and if all restrictions are removed completely, this will revert back to ten percent.
In addition, Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga teams agreed that the five substitutions per game would remain in place for the 2021/22 season.
