Atlético Madrid readying an offer for André Silva (Eintracht Frankfurt)

According to Bild, Spanish side Atlético Madrid are readying a summer offer for 25-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt striker André Silva.

Only if the Bundesliga side, who occupy the fourth Champions League spot, receive an offer over €30 million, will Eintracht be ready to negotiate. Silva has also attracted interest from an unnamed Bundesliga side and Premier League side Wolves, who his agent, Jorge Mendes, has good connections with.

Per Transfermarkt, Atlético Madrid enquired about the Portugal international during the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old forward has scored 17 goals in 19 Bundesliga games for Eintracht Frankfurt this season and is second in the goalscoring charts to Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Since joining the club on an initial two-year loan deal from Italian side AC Milan before making a permanent move last summer, with Ante Rebić heading in the opposite direction, Silva has scored 34 and created 10 in 58 games in all competitions for Adi Hütter’s Eintracht Frankfurt.
