André Silva faces fight to be fit for Bayern Munich clash

Speaking in a press conference on Thursday ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt’s clash with Bayern Munich, head coach Adi Hütter has revealed he could be without André Silva and that Erik Durm is listed as doubtful.

“He has back problems,” said Hütter. “We hope that they will both be fit in time for the game.”

The 51-year-old also confirmed that Sebastian Rode will start ahead of Djibril Sow, who will miss the game vs Bayern Munich through suspension.

“Sebastian will play on Saturday is nothing happens to him in training,” added Hütter. “He will be motivated against his former club and will want to build on the performance he showed before he picked up a minor injury.”

Eintracht Frankfurt occupy third in the Bundesliga and are ten points behind leaders Bayern, who drew against Arminia Bielefeld on Monday night.

Hütter’s Eintracht Frankfurt find themselves in excellent form, unbeaten in ten Bundesliga games, winning eight of those and drawing the remaining two.
