Speaking in an interview with WAZ, Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer hasn’t ruled out retiring from professional football at the Bundesliga club.
“I can imagine [ending my career here]. But you never know how everything will develop, how you will play and how the performances will be. That’s why I leave it open. I am very happy at Mönchengladbach,” said the 31-year-old.
The Switzerland is an important player at Borussia Mönchengladbach since his €9 million move from FC Basel in 2014.
