According to DeichStube, Werder Bremen have held preliminary talks with 32-year-old attacker Max Kruse regarding a return to the Bundesliga club.
Kruse’s contract with Fenerbahçe ran until 2022 but was terminated early after the German received no salary and therefore, he would be available on a free transfer.
Both Schalke and Union Berlin have also shown an interest in signing Kruse.
