Tottenham Hotspur eye Freiburg defender Robin Koch

Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in signing Freiburg defender Robin Koch, according to Bild.

The Premier League club have kept an eye on the Germany international with bosses searching for a replacement for Juan Foyth, who seems likely to leave for Inter Milan.

Koch has already informed the Bundesliga club that he will not be renewing his contract and so Freiburg will have to sell in the summer or risk losing the 23-year-old on a free transfer in 2023.

Freiburg head coach Christian Streich has already vetoed one move for Koch, RB Leipzig offering €15 million to sign the centre-back during the January transfer window. Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest.
