Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Thiago has told Bayern Munich bosses that he wants to leave the Bundesliga club and doesn’t want to sign a new contract.
The Spain international has one year remaining on his current deal and whilst Hansi Flick hasn’t given up hope on Thiago signing a new deal, his midfield preference is Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka.
Bayern Munich expert Christian Falk reported that Thiago and Bayern had reached a new contract agreement in May but the 29-year-old hesitated.
It’s now suggested that Thiago would like to join Premier League side Liverpool.
