Schalke head coach David Wagner has confirmed the Bundesliga club are in talks to extend the contract of Benjamin Stambouli.
“We are in exchange with Benji. We have an interest for him to continue playing for us. These are the things we’re going to flesh out after the next four games,” Wagner told FUNKE.
Stambouli has a contract with the Bundesliga club until the end of the season.
