Leeds United yesterday announced the signing of 24-year-old Freiburg defender Robin Koch on a four-year contract, the Germany international give his reasoning behind joining the Premier League club.
“I noticed how big and traditional the club is. I’m incredibly impressed by the emotion and enthusiasm of the fans. I was very conscious of my decision despite offers from other clubs but the sporting concept of Leeds was unique to me. The sporting perspective of developing myself under a successful coach like Marcelo Bielsa and asserting myself in the Premier League was decisive for me.”
