Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have reached a total agreement to sign 18-year-old Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol from Dinamo Zagreb, according to Fabrizio Romano.
RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche yesterday confirmed the Bundesliga club are in negotiations to sign Gvardiol, who rejected a contract offer from Premier League side Leeds United.
“He’s a very, very interesting playing, who has a lot of potential, who has come very far for his age and who is interesting for our club. We’ll see how certain things will develop now,” said Krösche.
Bild reported on Monday that Gvardiol will join RB Leipzig for a base fee of €17m.
