RB Leipzig have lowered the asking price of 21-year-old defender Dayot Upamecano from €60 million to €40m, according to Sport Bild.
The Frenchman has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2021 but if both parties fail to reach an agreement on a contract extension, Upamecano will leave the club for less than his €60m exit clause.
Both Arsenal and Bayern Munich have shown an interest in signing the central-defender but with Bayern’s priorities elsewhere, Leroy Sané and a right-back, they risk missing out on Upamecano.
