Schalke attacker Rabbi Matondo was left out of today’s matchday squad vs RB Leipzig due to ongoing negotiations with other clubs, according to Bild.
The Welshman has two offers from unnamed Bundesliga teams whilst Sky Italia has reported recent interest from Atalanta in the 20-year-old.
With just 48 hours remaining in the transfer window, the consensus would be that Matondo is allowed to leave the Bundesliga side should they receive a suitable offer which they will then reinvest before Monday’s transfer deadline.
