The likelihood of Schalke signing Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo has decreased due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the economic state of football.
“You don’t have to be a prophet to say that the probability has decreased due to the current crisis situation,” said Schalke sporting director Jochen Schneider told Kicker.
The Frenchman joined the Bundesliga club on loan in January which includes a €25 million purchase option plus a further €5m in future incentives.
