Pep Guardiola responds to Leroy Sané talk: “His future is not in my hands.”

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has admitted that the future of Leroy Sané is out of his hands.

“It’s a question for Leroy, his agents and the club, I’m not involved. Now he has to recover well, but he knows what we believe. I want him to come back fit, his knee looks really good, after that it’s not my business. His future is not in my hands,” said Guardiola.

The Germany international came close to joining Bayern Munich in the summer before picking up an injury, in a fixture that Sané wasn’t expected to be featured in.

Per multiple reports, it appears as though Sané will remain at Manchester City for the remainder of the season before a potential departure.
