Paderborn and Martin Przondziono part ways

Paderborn 07 and sporting director Martin Przondziono have parted ways after a “unanimous of the economic council.”

“We would like to thank Martin Przondziono, who led our team through the difficult first few months after returning to the Bundesliga,” said Chairman of the Economic Council , Elmar Volkmann.

“In the recent past, however, there have been different opinions in terms of sporting development. From our point of view, the forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic is a good opportunity to bring change in sports management.”

Przondziono told Kicker he was surprised of the decision: “The decision completely surprised me. We were on a very good path at the club. I can not understand the reasons for this step in any way.

Holstein Kiel have also terminated their contract with Fabian Wohlgemuth, who will take up the sporting director role from Przondziono at Paderborn in May.
