Bundesliga returnees VfB Stuttgart have announced the signing of Hoffenheim goalkeeper Gregor Kobel on a permanent contract and Hannover 96 defender Waldemar Anton.
Kobel has joined the club for a reported fee of €4m and has signed a contract with Stuttgart until 2024 after spending last season on loan at the club.
“I’ve always said how at home I feel at VfB and within the team, that I can develop really well here and that I’d like to stay in the long term,” said the 22-year-old stopper.
Like Kobel, 24-year-old central defender Anton has signed a four-year contract with Stuttgart whilst Hannover will receive a base fee of €4m plus future incentives.
