Hertha Berlin have announced the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Lucas Tousart from Lyon for a €25m fee.
The Frenchman will be loaned back to Lyon for the remainder of the season before joining up with his new teammates in the summer.
“With Lucas, we are getting a young and yet internationally experienced player from a Champions League club who will show us his qualities in the coming season,” said sporting director Michael Preetz.
