Hertha Berlin have announced the signing of AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piątek for a fee believed to be €27 million. The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
Milan rejected Hertha BSC’s first offer for Piątek with talks continuing for the remainder of Wednesday before an agreement was reached.
Tottenham Hotspur had also enquired about signing the Poland international on loan, although Milan preferred to sell on a permanent deal.
