Contract talks between Bayern Munich and 34-year-old Manuel Neuer are at a standstill with the Germany international wanting a contract until 2025.
Sport Bild report today that Bayern Munich have offered Neuer a contract until 2023 with the goalkeeper wanting a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
The danger is that a longer contract would see summer arrival Alexander Nübel sit on the bench for the term of his contract.
Premier League outfit Chelsea have also shown an interest in signing Neuer should he leave Bayern Munich, with his current deal expiring in 2021.
