According to Kicker, Loris Karius is not a candidate for Hertha Berlin despite reports last week suggesting the Bundesliga club were interested in the German.
Karius ended his loan spell at Besiktas and returned to Liverpool due to unpaid wages after 25 Süper Lig games this season.
The 26-year-old has a contract with Liverpool until 2022 but will leave the Premier League club in the summer.
Per the report, Hertha goalkeeping coach Zsolt Petry and Karius did have brief contact.
