Bayern Munich have identified Lukas Klostermann (RB Leipzig), Joao Cancelo (Manchester City) and Benjamin Henrichs (AS Monaco) as targets for the right-back position, according to Abendzeitung Munich.
RB Leipzig are expected to open contract negotiations with Klostermann to discuss a new deal whilst Julian Nagelsmann’s side are also interested in signing Henrichs.
The report suggests signing Cancelo on a loan deal would be a possibility for Bayern Munich this window given the lack of playing time the Portugal international has achieved under Pep Guardiola following his move from Juventus.
If not during January, then it’s likely Bayern Munich will sign a full-back in the summer with the club preferring to play Joshua Kimmich in midfield.
