After eight years at Bayern Munich, Kicker report tonight that Javi Martinez’s time at the Bundesliga is coming to an end.
The 31-year-old has a contract at Bayern Munich until 2021 but with competition in midfield from Thiago and Joshua Kimmich, playing time has been extremely limited for the Spaniard.
Per the report, Bayern Munich and Martinez aren’t expecting to undergo negotiations surrounding a contract extension whilst they would prefer to sell in the summer rather than lose him on a free in 2021.
