Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennes have shown an interest in signing Bayern Munich defender Javi Martínez, according to Kicker.
The 31-year-old is likely to leave the Bundesliga champions this summer with just one year remaining on his contract. Former side Athletic Club have also shown an interest.
Rennes make an exciting proposition for Martínez, given their participation in the 2020/21 Champions League.
